WHAT IS PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma comes from you blood. Our practitioner will draw blood, then place it in a centrifuge, and spin it to separate the platelets from the other components of the blood. Once the PRP is separated, it is drawn up into a syringe and will be injected into the area to be treated. PRP is used for surgical, dental, and cosmetic procedures. PRP stimulates the growth of healthy tissue and blood cells, there by inducing collagen and proteoglycan synthesis for cell production and damaged tissue. PRP also optimizes conditions for healing and for generating new skin.

At New Life Wellness we are doing PRP for facial injections, hair restoration, and the Omg Shot.

Hair Restoration- pRP

Studies have shown after PRP treatments to the scalp, hair growth is stimulated. Patients will need at minimum 4 treatments of PRP spaced 1 month apart. Results will vary but research shows that after PRP treatments patients can expect to see 30% restoration.

Facial Injections- PRP

If you are wanting to decrease the prominence of scars, wrinkles, sun damage, and dark circles under your eyes, PRP can be a great option. Your face will have a topical numbing is applied to the face, and the platelets are shot into the face injections. Platelets can heal and regenerate cells in your body, so when injected into your skin, the activated serum kick-starts natural collagen production, and helps to regrow new tissue. Optimal results will occur in 3 months.
