About Dr. Rodriguez, and New Life Aesthetic Medical Director
With two highly accomplished physicians as parents, you might think Dr. Rodriguez’s journey to medicine was typical and straightforward. However, Dr. Abigail explored other passions that complemented her medical studies in a quest to best serve her future patients. Before committing to medical school, she graduated from the University of Richmond with a double major in Spanish and Leadership Studies, spending time abroad in Argentina and Spain. She pursued her medical degree in College Station from Texas A&M University College of Medicine, distinguishing herself as a compassionate caregiver with her induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, an organization that reinforces and supports human connection in healthcare. During her time abroad, Dr. Abigail’s already impressive Spanish was refined into professional fluency, allowing her to provide identical levels of exceptional and compassionate care to Spanish-speaking patients.
As our Aesthetic Medical Director, Dr. Rodriguez oversees all cosmetic procedures. She works with the Aesthetic for Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in Houston and sees patients at our location as well. She brings her expertise to consultations with New Life Wellness patients and engages them in a dynamic discussion to assess their desired results and the best path to successfully achieving them.
While Dr. Rodriguez treasures her career and patients, she also enjoys a fulfilling life outside of medicine. She comes from a close-knit family that continues to support each other with frequent gatherings for birthdays, holidays, and milestones. She and her husband, Jack, enjoy slow nights at home with their precious pup, Luna, just as much as exploring Houston’s robust restaurant scene. While finding time and coordinating their busy work schedules requires special skill, Dr. Rodriguez and Jack always make their shared passion for traveling, especially to snowy mountainous destinations, a priority.
